Spray Finishing Techniques

The spray class is from 9 am to 4 pm and participants can bring their own table tops, ready to spray if they are 25 inches or less in both length and width I’ll have a top or two on hand to spray as a demonstration, and folks coming to the class can bring a 1/4 to 3/4 inch piece of hardwood plywood to spray, if they don’t want to glue up a top with the same size restrictions. We’d all use my HVLP gun and turbine for spraying and I’d supply the finish, catalyst (for the conversion varnish) sandpaper, filters, etc.

Class size: up to 6 (more if they just want to watch – with organic respirator).

SAFETY EQUIPMENT: Everyone will have to bring an organic respirator and eye and hearing protection.

Materials contribution to those who want to spray something is $25; to just watch is $10. Bring a lunch or join me at Avenue Bread for lunch which is a short walk away (3 or so blocks). I might fill the time some between coats by demonstrating a few things if folks are interested.
