THIS IS A GREAT CLASS FOR MEMBERS WHO ARE NEW TO WOODWORKING!

Are you fairly new to woodworking? You too can become a ‘wood whisperer’ … learn – at this class – how to understand, and ‘communicate with’ wood that results in your building projects with the most suitable wood chosen for those projects.

Trial and error is said to be a great teacher. But, oh, the cost to projects (time, money frustration, and wood) resulting from not choosing the best wood for your project. Instead of trial and error, let Phil Choquette be your great teacher!

In this class, Phil Choquette – who has been a professional wood finisher and restorer for decades – will share his professional knowledge with you. He will describe and display various types of woods commonly used to make furniture and other items. A large variety of defects will be shown, as well as the most advantageous ways of joinery.

Trial and error, no. Phil Choquette, yes.
