BASICS OF VACUUM APPLICATIONS IN YOUR SHOP

Topics will include vacuum sources and bags; making inexpensive vinyl vacuum bags; basics of veneering; laminations and curved applications; clamping; dye infusion; and other subjects. There will be a short hands-on exercise where each participant will make a simple veneered panel, suitable for use as a box lid.
You will need to bring a folding chair or stool, a snack or lunch and warm jacket if the day is chilly.
